Asus Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone 2 with 4G LTE and Android L announced at CES

Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has lined up its gadget for the CES 2015. Like every year, Consumer Electronics show has begun in LA and will continue until Dec 9 and Asus has unveiled two smartphones that are dubbed as Asus Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone 2. Folks who are looking for affordable yet decent gadget can have look at the new Asus handsets. Both the smartphones packs similar specs like 5.5-inch HD Display, Intel powered processor and 4G LTE connectivity. The Asus handsets add to the Zenfone range. Both the handset runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop OS.

Asus Zenfone Zoom and Asus Zenfone 2 are mid-end smartphopne with decent specs and price. The handsets will soon be available for folks round the globe.
Specification-wise, the new Asus Zenfone Zoom is a camera centric handset with 13MP Rear snapper. It runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop OS. The smartphone sports 5.5-inch HD Display flaunting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its dimension measures 158.9 x 78.8 x 11.95 mm and weighs about 185g.
On the hardware term, Asus Zoom is powered by Quad core Intel Atom Z3580 SoC. Memory-wise, the handset is offered with either a 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and 128GB inbuilt storage and expansion via microSD card.
On the imaging front, Zenfone Zoom features 5-megapixel front shooter with 88 degree lens for selfie lovers. It comes with 13MP primary camera with OIS and LED Flash for photos and videos. In Connectivity terms, the handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone ships with Dual SIM (Micro SD) slot. The battery backing up the device is 3000mAh Battery power.

Besides Asus Zenfone Zoom, the makers have launched Zenfone 2 at the CES event. It is yet another addition to the mid-end smartphones with 64-bit SoC.
As per the specifications, Asus Zenfone 2 packs similar specs like Zenfone Zoom but measures 10.9mm on its thicker ends.
